Barn Conversion

The Old Onion Store was originally constructed as a barn for storing onions. It is locally listed with a number of architectural features which were preserved.

The project included the complete design of a three bedroom house over two levels with a double entrance hall. The hall needed substantial structural support which required careful detailing.

Obtaining planning permission with the conservation area officer
Building Control approval
Detailing of internal and external structure
New services including drainage and utility services
During the construction – site management including co-ordination of various trades involved
